It contains the H700 adapter version with 512MB memory and a 4 drop cable. This is the kit you should order if you have cabled hard drives - 342-3001. It also contains hot plug backplane cables. That kit contains the H700 Adapter version that goes into a normal PCIe slot. I just ordered 4 of these from Dell - 342-2524 - Do I need anything else to make them work? My rep seemed to think that I just plop this card in and off it goes, but sounds like for the cabled version I might need to swap those out? I'm going through a similar situation - taking a SATA / Cabled non-hotswap backplane and installing an H700 into my Dell R415's.
